Treated Pine Decking is a clean finish product that is durable and treated for Australian conditions. It is a natural softwood with attractive timber grain.
Merbau, also known as (Kwila) is a rainforest hardwood from Indonesia that is generally dark brown to dark reddish-brown in appearance. It is ideally suited to be used as a decking product, a privacy screen, or outdoor furniture. Dressed Merbau boards are ideal for external use and in BAL 29 fire restricted areas.
One of the many great species we install is Pacific Jarrah (Manilkara Bidentata). It is a beautiful deep red colour and is a Durability 1 species which makes it ideal for decking, giving it the ability to last for decades if cared for correctly. It is similar in colour to Merbau, but the good thing about Pacific Jarrah is that it doesn't bleed out and leave stains on your tiles or concrete as Merbau does.
Composite decking is versatile and looks great in any setting. Whether you are using it for pool decking, patio decking, or a large entertaining platform, it will add definite sophistication that is long-wearing, never rot or eaten by termites, safe and eco-friendly. And because it is splinter-free, it is also safe for use with children.
Blackbutt is one of the highest value timbers and is predominantly grown in the north coast of NSW, called the Northern Region. It is also common in coastal forests, from southern Queensland to southern NSW. Blackbutt is a native hardwood, and the timber is light brown or yellowish. The grain is usually straight, with gum veins present.
Spotted gum grown in Queensland offers a wide variety of colours and, as a species, provides high levels of natural variation. Ranging from deep red-brown hues to blonde tones, the unique wavy grain of Spotted gum makes it an attractive option for designers.
